Tank

Tanks

  • Tanks will be a very important part of any fighting force
  • Fast moving quickly over most terrains
  • With varying amounts of armor they are well-protected 
  • They will be able to tank on infantry, artillery and infantry
  • Will require a crew of 2 to 5 soldiers to operate

 

Artillery

 

Artillery

  • Artillery will punish opposing forces from a distance
  • Slower than tanks but faster than infantry
  • Lightly armored with increasing armor with higher qualities
  • Great for focusing on tanks or opposing artillery
  • Will require a crew of 2 to 5 soldiers to operate
 

 

Weapon 

Infantry

  • A large part of every fighting force will be infantry
  • With weapons in hand they will effectively take on other infantry
  • Will be able to take on tanks and artillery to a lesser degree
  • Infantry will have little to protect them
  • Weapons of 5 different qualities will have specific targets in mind
 

 

Military Command

 

High Command

Every city and country will have the opportunity to set up their own military.  These military forces will be directed by a handful of officials select by the government to be the High Command.  Those in High Command will be responsible for setting up appropriate unit and crew structure, recruiting soldiers, supply lines, soldier training and military buildings.

Units

Units will be the main divisions of soldiers and crews for the military.  Smaller units will be brought together into larger units to move across combat areas.  In charge of each unit will be officers.  These officers will be in charge of their units movements, and engagement in battles.

Crews

Crews will be set up to command both tanks and artillery.  Crews will be from 2 to 6 soldiers strong, and will have one military vehicle at their disposal.  These crews will be assigned to a unit, and will fight where their crew commander directs them.

Soldiers

Soldiers will either be in crews, or will fight as infantry. As infantry they will be given a weapon in which to fight.  They will also have the ability to train on their weapons, as well as tanks, and artillery if given training sessions by their superiors.

 

Military Buildings

The military along with their city and national governments will be responsible for the construction and maintaince of specific military buildings.

 

Academy 

Academy

  • Used for training troops
  • Troops can train for strength and get a bonus within the academy
  • Troops can only train for weapons, tanks or artillery in an academy
  • Academy can hold limited supplies, mainly training weapons

 

 

 

 Barracks

Barracks

  • Needed for soldiers to be housed in
  • Allows soldiers to wind down after battle
  • Each unit's home base will require enough barracks for soldiers on field
  • Recuperating soldiers will do better in barracks than at home

 

 

 

 Defensive System

Defensive System

  • Protects city from foreign invasion
  • First to fire at enemy each round
  • Effectively hits a combination of infantry, tanks and artillery forces
  • Will do broad destruction over many forces, or sustained if just a few enemy troops

 

Hospital 

Hospital

  • Best place for recuperating soldiers to reside if seriously injured in battlefield
  • Each hospital will have a limit to the number of soldiers it can accomodate
  • Soldiers can recover quicker to get into combat again
 

 

Wall 

Wall

  • Best city defense against invading forces
  • Reduces damage to all defending infantry, tanks and artillery in a city with walls
  • Each round takes on significant damage that would have gone to troops
  • Degrades with every round it absorbs damage
